In the Manufacturing module, you can see and follow the chain of the manufacturing processes. Create the new products, record the needed materials and manage the item balances.

Manufacturing list

In the Manufacturing module, you will see the list of all the manufacturing entries.

Use the search and filters if you need to find the specific entry.

You can determine your module display with the help of the bookmarks. Create a new one and select which filters and columns should be displayed in your module view.

Creating a new manufacturing entry

  1. Before creating a production record, you first need to create the product. This is done in the Invoice items module when creating a new item. In the item's card, choose the Product option and add the component parts. A more detailed instruction can be found here.
  2. When the Product is created, click New entry in Manufacturing module.
  1. Select the manufactured product.
  1. When the product is selected, the system will automatically add the materials - items needed to manufacture the product.
  1. The quantity of materials is set based on the quantity of the manufactured product. If its quantity is increased - then materials quantity is recalculated automatically. If needed, you may adjust the quantity manually.
  1. To add an additional material item into the list, type the item's name in the search field, select the wanted material and click on the blue checkmark on the right side of the table.
  1. Specify the warehouse from which the raw materials will be deducted.
  1. Specify the responsible person and manufactured product warehouse, where the final product will be located. The balances in this warehouse will be recalculated at the end of the manufacturing process.
  1. When all the information fields are completed, save the manufacturing entry.

Editing and deleting

To edit or delete the manufacturing entry, use the commands in the Options column in the list.

You may also edit and delete when reviewing the entry when clicking the Actions button.

Manufacturing statuses

The manufacturing process has four statuses:

  • In preparation - when manufacturing process has not started yet, raw material balances remain unchanged.
  • Being produced - when manufacturing process has begun, the balance changes are displayed in raw material item's cards.
  • Finished - when manufacturing process is done, the new balances are shown in the product's card.
  • Canceled - when manufacturing process is no longer on going and is canceled.

Manufacturing export

  1. To export the manufacturing entries, click on the Actions button.
  1. In the newly opened tab, click on the export icon and select the desired format for the export (either PDF, CSV or Excel).
  1. The system will generate ZIP folder, click on it to download - and there you will see your export file.
