Contacts module settings

System settings help you to set up the system according to your needs.

Choose Setup > Contacts to create your own contact category or type.

Contact group

You can select Contact group when creating a new customer:

In order to add more choices to  Contact group, click Setup > Contacts > Contact group;

Select New contact group:

Fill in the details;

Click  Save.

Use Actions to edit or delete value:

Contact types

You can identify Customer type when creating a new customer:

To add more options for Customer types, select Setup -> Contacts -> Contact types.

Click New contact type:

Fill in the information and click  Save.

In order to edit or delete type, use Actions menu.

Contact levels

When creating a new contact, enter contact level:

Contact level indicates when to create an automatic task if the client hasn't bought anything from you for X days. To enter new contact level, select Setup> Contacts > Contact level and click New value:

Insert name and specify number of days - if there are no invoices in the system for this customer for X days, system will create an automatic task that indicates for how long client hasn't bought anything.

Press Save. In order to edit or delete value, use Actions menu:

Activities

When creating new customer, there is an opportunity to select Activities

To add more Activities to the list, select Setup -> Modules picklists -> Activities.

Click New value:

Enter the information required and press Save.

Select default value if needed.

In case you want to hide value from the list, but don't want to lose related history, mark it inactive.

To edit or delete the value, use Actions menu.

Relation types

Contacts can be linked to other contacts through relations. You can create and edit the values of relations between legal entities by choosing System setup > Contacts > Juridical relation types, and you can create and edit the values of relations between Physical persons by choosing System setup > Contacts > Physical relation types.

To create a new relation type, clik New value:

Enter the information required and click Save.

Set as  default value if needed.

In case you want to hide value from the list, but don't want to lose related history, mark it  inactive.

To edit or delete the value, use  Actions menu:
