Stocks module settings
Customizing the system settings helps you to optimize your daily tasks.
Product manufacturers
When creating a new item, you can indicate product manufacturer:
- Create product manufacturers by choosing Setup - Modules picklists - Product manufacturers.
- Fill the information fields and save.
- You can select and mark the default value. If the value is no longer in use, you can turn off its activity without deleting and losing the value.
- To edit or delete the manufacturer record, use the Actions column.
Other settings
- In Setup - Settings - Stocks - General, you can specify:
- the quantity of prefix numbers;
- whether the amount of selected goods should be limited in Opportunities based on the items balance;
- whether the amount of selected goods should be limited in Invoices based on the items balance;
- the default item type (service or item).
- Setup - Settings - Stocks - Orders enter series and order number. The same way you can manage series and order number for Goods receiving, Goods sweeping and Transportations as well.
- When in Orders tab, you can also adjust the Contact Information Format field with the formulas on the right, the selected information will be displayed in generated PDF files.
