SMS integration

The system is enabled to integrate Tele2 SMS services and Twilio. This function allows you to send SMS texts to your clients and leads or send the mass messages. To enable this, first you need to create a Twilio account or Tele2 service for business to receive the API key and sender name. To activate this integration contact us: support@hannacrm.lt
How does SMS integration work?
- First, you will need to create SMS template. Go to Setup - SMS - Templates - New record.
- Enter the template name and text, select the option Is active to make sure that template will be enabled to use and save.
- Then head to Setup - SMS - Settings - New record.
- SMS settings can be related to either Leads or Opportunities module. For example, select lead's and set period of when should the message be sent after lead status is changed (in hours). Assign the SMS template, make sure option Is active is on and save.
- In this example, the system will send an automatic message to the lead when lead status changes to Proposal two hours after the change.
- SMS can also be sent directly via the lead's card by clicking on SMS icon.
- Also to contacts.
- All sent messages are stored and can be reviewed in Setup - SMS - Messages.
- Messages can also be reviewed in lead/contact card in the SMS tab.
SMS settings
When creating a new setting for leads:
If both lead status and source are specified, the system will send the automatic message only to the leads that align with the determined status and source values. However if only one of the values is selected (e.g. status Proposal), the system will send message to all leads with the assigned status.
Mass SMS sending
The system allows to automate mass SMS sending to the selected number of contacts and leads. With the help of this function, you can send one message to several customers at the same time.
- Select the contacts to whom you would like to send message and click on the mass action button.
- Click on the SMS icon to send the message.
- Select the SMS template and click save - messages will be sent to selected contacts.
If no lead status or source is specified in SMS settings, the system will sent an automatic message to all the leads.
