Zapier integration
Connect Hanna to Zapier, map fields and IDs, test the automation, and publish it safely.
Security. Transfer passwords, API keys, or other credentials only through the secure method provided by Hanna Customer Support. Never paste a secret into an email or support request body.
Connect Hanna to Zapier
Open the Hanna Zapier invitation and select Accept Invite & Build Zap. Choose the current Hanna app and the required action, such as creating or updating a Contact or Lead. Sign in using a dedicated Hanna API key and your account subdomain.
Map required values
For Lead creation, map the source data and provide required Hanna values. Assigned and Added From use Staff IDs; Status and Source use IDs from the Lead settings. Include the name and relevant creation or assignment dates. IDs must come from your own Hanna account.
Test and publish
For a Lead Ads workflow, first configure and test the source trigger, then add the Hanna Create Lead action and map your own account’s Staff, Status, and Source IDs. Zapier’s getting-started guide and action setup instructions explain the Zapier-side steps.
Use Test step, then inspect the created Hanna record for duplicates, assignee, status, source, and dates. Complete the remaining Zap steps and select Publish only after the test passes. Monitor the first production runs and Zapier error history.
Create a dedicated API key with minimum permissions and never send it in a support request.
Setup screens
The screens below follow the setup sequence described above. Labels may vary as providers update their interfaces.

Troubleshooting
Check account permissions, integration status, required fields, and the external system log. If the problem persists, send the attempt time, record or event identifier, and visible error to Hanna Customer Support, without credentials.
