2025-10-15 Custom fields in reports
The custom fields you create can be used not only when creating records within modules but also in those modules’ reports. For example, if you’ve created an additional filter for Invoice module, you’ll be able to use that filter in the Invoices report as well.
First, create the necessary custom fields by specifying the field name, type, and the module it belongs to. You can find a detailed guide here.
When creating custom fields, make sure that:
- the Use in filters option is selected if you want the field to appear as an additional filter in reports;
- the Show on table option is selected if you want the field to appear as an additional column in reports.
If, after creating custom fields, you cannot see them in the report, make sure that their visibility is enabled in the report template - under the Filters or Columns sections.
